Who is Ajit Jain, whom Warren Buffett always describes as his right hand?

The man on the left : Mr. Ajit Jain: A man motivated by passion not money. Ajit Jain, 66, is currently the Vice Chairman of Warren Buffett’s Insurance business.
Odisha-born Ajit Jain is an alumnus of IIT-Kharagpur. He did his MBA from Harvard University in 1978. He joined Berkshire back in 1986 and has made the Insurance business what it is today.
Warren Buffett says” When Ajit entered Berkshire’s office on a Saturday in 1986, he did not have a day’s experience in the insurance business. Nevertheless, Mike Goldberg, then our manager of insurance, handed him the keys to our small and struggling reinsurance business. With that move, Mike achieved sainthood: Since then, Ajit has created tens of billions of value for Berkshire shareholders. If there were ever to be another Ajit and you could swap me for him, don’t hesitate. Make the trade!”
Ajits stake in Berkshire is valued at more than a whopping $100 Million. But, his humility is valued even more. He may have made more money for Berkshire then Buffett himself. Just to put it in perspective, Ajits insurance business contributes to 40% of Berkshire’s Assets and more than 20% of its operating income.
There is a very high probability that after Buffett, Ajit will succeed Berkshire Hathaway, one of the worlds largest conglomerates.
Warren Buffett has described Jain as having the intelligence to rate most risks properly, the realism to forget about those that can't be evaluated, the courage to write huge policies and the discipline to reject risk when the premium is not appropriate.
"It is rare to find a person possessing any one of these talents. For one person to have them all is remarkable. Nobody can replace Ajit, there are things that only he can do and no one else" Buffett said, in the 1999 letter to shareholders.
This is how Buffett vouches for Ajit:
"If Munger, I, and Ajit are ever in a sinking boat and you can only save one of us, swim to Ajit,"
